Take Your Child to the Library Day – February 1 2014

tycttldpc Libraries in Hamilton, Saratoga, Warren and Washington County are participating in Take Your Child to the Library Day on February 1, 2014.  Now in it’s third year, this annual event is held nationwide to encourage parents and caregivers to bring children to the library on a regular basis.  Library programs are offered free of charge to all children from toddlers to teens. Parents are encouraged to participate as well.  Some restrictions may apply, so please contact your library.
Don’t forget to fill out a postcard while you’re there to let the librarians know how much fun you had.

Free Affordable Care Act Program for Library Staff

Crandall Public Library will host a free Affordable Care Act program with Erika Walker from the Adirondack Health Institute on Wednesday, October 9 from 2:00-3:30 at the Crandall Public Library.  This program is open to all SALS member library staff who would like to learn more about the ACA and the available community resources.
