Music Call Number Proposal: Modified ANSCR

For more than 6 years SALS has used the Alpha-Numeric System for Classification of Recordings (ANSCR) for assigning call numbers.  This system allows for a unique call number for every piece of music in your collection.  At the November 20, 2006 Technical Services meeting, a change was presented that will work better with new bibliographic call number procedure that began on November 15, 2006.Continue reading

Hip Hop on Pop: A Teen Services Workshop

Please join us as we talk about Teen Services with Kimberly Paone, Supervisor of Adult & Teen Services, Elizabeth Public Library, NJ at (Hip) Hop on Pop, a free workshop, to be held Wednesday, December 6, 2006 at the Saratoga Springs Public Library from 9 a.m. through 4:00 p.m co-sponsored by MVLS, UHLS and SALS.

  • How to pay fines

  • Request materials
