All SALS member library staff and system staff are now eligible to receive FREE access to lynda.com, an online subscription library that teaches the latest software tools and skills through instructional videos taught by industry experts. With your lynda.com account you can access more than 1,400 training videos in a broad range of subjects including business skills, photography, design, music and video, animation and web design and development. New courses are added on a regular basis.

SALS has purchased a limited number of simultaneous activation codes. Accounts will be activated on a first come first serve basis for a period of two weeks. During this time-frame you may view as many training videos as you wish on as many topics as you desire.
To get access to lynda.com, just contact Jennifer Ferriss. Be sure to include your library’s name and your email. If all codes are in use, we will create a wait-list. While your account is active for two weeks you have unlimited access to lynda.com. At the end of the two weeks your account privileges will be deactivated, although your account will remain open on lynda.com so that you may see a history of your training. You may request access again over the course of the year.
