Executive Summary of SALS 2009 Survey Responses

Library staff and trustees were asked to complete a satisfaction and use survey as required by the SALS Plan of Service 2007-2010.  Forty-three people began the survey.  Here are some of the survey highlights.

100% of the respondents are satisfied with our services.

SALS services rated the most used and most valued:

  • Polaris and Polaris support
  • Delivery and resource sharing among the membership
  • Continuing Education and Consulting
  • Acquisitions, Cataloging and Processing

Public Library Innovation Grant

Public libraries can play a dynamic role in communities.  However, many libraries across the country are struggling to take on a larger role in meeting their community’s needs and require increased support from their city or county administrator.
