New High School Equivalency Test Information Available Online

New York State has a new High School Equivalency Exam called TASC — Test Assessing Secondary Completion. The GED (R) is no longer administered in New York State.

Test information and a brochure in both English and Spanish are available online.  The brochure explains the test and the five subject areas it covers, and where to get more information.

Guide describes the educational and professional steps needed to enter the field, including course work in high school, a college degree, on-the-job training, apprenticeships, and professional exams and certifications.
