To continue the celebration of the Americans with Disabilities Act's 35th anniversary, the next Adult Program Swap will take place from 2 - 3 pm Tuesday, October 28, to share ideas on adult programs that are open and welcoming to everyone.
Adult Program Swap is a virtual meet-up of Adult Programming Library staff to network and share ideas. We start with a short intro and then hear from a series of presenters who have volunteered to briefly share what has worked at their libraries. Following the presentations, there will be an opportunity for Q and A and an open discussion. If there's a large group, we'll use facilitated breakout rooms to ensure everyone has a chance to participate. There will be time to ask and answer questions about the programs discussed.
To foster open dialogue and encourage participation, the Adult Program Swap is not recorded. We ask all participants to complete an adult programming template with an example of a popular program. The shared folder of programs will be available to all participants.
