Autism Spectrum Disorders affect one in 88 children in America according to the Autism Society; so, it is important to recognize their needs and reach out to the autistic in your community to show them that the library can be a safe place to have fun and learn. Grant Summary: “Preservation Assistance Grants help small and mid-sized institutions—such as libraries, museums, historical societies, archival repositories, cultural organizations, town and county records offices, and colleges and universities—improve their ability to preserve and care for their significant humanities collections. If you missed the The State Library sponsored webinar, “Best Practices for Delivering Workforce Development Services in Public Libraries”, the webinar has been archived here. This was a wonderfully informative presentation with a ton of resources for libraries.
