SALS Workshop: Keeping Your Library Relevant Today and Tomorrow

Carson Block will be presenting an all day program at Clifton Park –Halfmoon Library on Weds April 27, 2011 starting promptly at 9:30 am.

Why?

As part of the SALS planning process, member libraries were very clear that they needed to stay relevant in today’s economic climate to best serve their communities. SALS too, needs to remain relevant in providing services that meet your needs. Please join us in the next step of conversation, information sharing and further developing the SALS Plan of Service.

Carson believes the purpose of the public library is to connect people to information. He feels, as we do, that libraries are special and vital to people’s lives.

His presentation will bring us a step closer in providing outstanding library and informational services using technology.

The SALS Board of Trustees recognized this need and has reallocated resources to help libraries succeed in this venture.

Lunch will be provided, please invite board members and appropriate staff to this program.

In order to get the proper lunch count, please RSVP to Nancy Bowen by April 22, 2011.
