On Thursday, May 7th from 12:30 pm – 3:30 pm at the CDLC Offices, 28 Essex Street, Albany there will be an informal afternoon gathering to discuss the use of Lib Guides in libraries. It is Sponsored by CDLC’s Regional Automation Advisory Committee.
It’ll start with an optional pizza lunch at noon followed up by short presentations by:
Jane Bentley of Questar III School Library System,
Tia Felock of Capital Region BOCES School Library System,
Carrie Buff of Schenectady County Community College, and
Caitlin Sheldon of Saratoga Springs Public Library.
From 1:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m., they’ll open the floor up to six member libraries in a round-robin style discussion on how they’re using LibGuides. These 10 minute spots are available on a first-come, first-serve basis so claim your spot when registering! At 2:30 p.m., they’ll finish up with a general discussion and question session. This program is open to anyone interested in learning more about LibGuides but is not a hands-on workshop on how to develop them.
There is no cost for this event, which is open to all members of CDLC institutions.
