SALS has purchased Flip Video cameras and a microphone for member library staff to borrow.
The Flip Video cameras are available individually or as a kit. The kit includes 10 Flip cameras, 1 DVD burner, 1 external hard drive and accessories to support a workshop.
The microphone is also available and can be used with a USB port on your computer.
The Flip Video cameras were introduced to the attendees of the Youth Services workshop in March. These cameras can almost fit in your pocket and are very easy to use. You just turn it on, push the red button and you are recording in color and sound. There is a built in USB on the camera so transferring to the computer is as easy as plugging the camera in to your USB port.
