3 Apples Award Winners Announced

With great excitement, the Youth Services (YSS) and School Library Media (SLMS) Sections of the New York Library Association (NYLA) announce following winners for 2008:

  • Children’s Choice Award: GREEN EGGS AND HAM by Dr. Seuss (Random House
  • Teen Choice Award: A CHILD CALLED IT: ONE CHILD’S COURAGE TO SURVIVE by Dave Pelzer (HCI)

Thank you to all the librarians who promoted this award and to the students who voted and participated in the awards process through their school and public libraries.
