Facebook: check. Twitter: check. Instagram: what the heck?! Social media is an inexpensive and fairly easy way for libraries to connect with their communities. When trying to reach teens and young adults, though, Facebook and Twitter might not cut it. Instead, when it comes to social media platforms, Instagram takes the cake for teens. Join us to learn how two libraries tell their stories on Instagram. Katie Blackthorn from Carmel Clay Public Library in Carmel, Indiana will give us guidance on how to get started and why Instagram is a great way to go.

Molly Bennett and Norah Guignon from Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh will then share their library’s story, as well as many examples of how to use Instagram to connect with teens. If you’re like Tutor.com and have not yet mastered the art of Instagram or if you’re just looking for some great new ideas, be sure to join us for this great presentation.

Presentation: 60 minutes

Optional Q&A: 30 minutes

Webinar WILL be recorded for later viewing, so be sure to register even if you cannot attend the live event.
