I learned about FireFox and igoogle. Now I can keep up with weather all over the world. What did we do without this information at our finger tips?

I learned that Round Lake added conduit bars to the web catalog….very interesting. Also that Google-customized search engines are great for homework help and for travel plans!
openoffice.com has free tools! Check it out!

Wow.. I had never seen library thing. I was able to pass that along to our book club. Also Jott and WiZiQ could come in handy for people I know.
It looks like we can get information from everywhere and put it on one place. I wonder just how many more passwords i have to remember.

I couldn’t be at the workshop, but many thanks to Polly and to Jennifer for putting the info on this blog. There were some new (new at least to me) tools that I had fun with, and others I’ll look into.
Just created a short video clip on Animoto.

So interesting to hear what new tools and ideas they took away from the presentation. And Shobhan, glad you found the animota video tool. I meant to include a section in those video/storytelling tools. Fun tools for making short videos from your photos: hhttp://lib20.pbwiki.com/resources-storytelling. Look forward to reading more ideas.

I signed up Jott and have been using it to update our staff Google calendar and our blog. I am also interested in the Conduit Bars and the Sonific page. Lots of cool tools and stuff, never enough time to play with and think how to integrate into our library. But we’ll keep trying and learning….Thanks Polly
