Who can download an eAudio or eBook from SALON?
Your library card must be issued from a public library in Hamilton, Saratoga, Warren or Washington County in New York State.  If your card was originally issued in Fulton, Montgomery, Schoharie or Schenectady County please visit, http://mvls.lib.overdrive.com or visit your current library and ask them to update your card.

Why am I getting “There appears to be a problem with your card. Please contact your local library for assistance”?
Do you have…

Expired card -If you have not used your library card to borrow materials at the library in a while (this varies by library), you will not be able to check out of download eAudios or eBooks.  Take your card and a form of identification to your local library and update your library card.
Max. fines ($10.00 or more) – Once you owe your library more than $9.99 you will not be able to check out or download eAudios or eBooks.
Max. items out (50 or more) – If you have 50 or more items out from any library, you will not be able to check out or download eAudios or eBooks.

How many titles can I borrow?
You can borrow up to 10 titles at time. You will need an active library card to borrow titles from this library.

Can I return or renew a title?

Some titles can be returned before they expire. If you have not downloaded a title, you’ll be able to return it from your bookshelf. If you download a title, its ‘Return Title’ button will disappear from your bookshelf, but you may be able to return it using these steps. The option to renew a title will appear on your bookshelf within 3 days of the title’s expiration date. Learn more about how to renew titles here.

Can I place holds on titles?

You can place up to 10 titles on hold at a time. You’ll receive an email notification when a title you placed on hold becomes available. Once the email is sent, you’ll have 3 days (72 hours) to borrow the title before your hold is cancelled.
