Financial Education Webinar for Librarians

The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) is partnering with IMLS and other federal agencies and library organizations to help libraries connect their customers to financial information, resources, and community experts. On Thursday, July 10, CFPB presents a financial education webinar for librarians at 2:30 p.m. EST. The webinar is the first in a monthly series that will provide updates on CFPB’s activities, resources for librarians, and opportunities for questions and answers.

IMLS is helping the Bureau’s Office of Financial Education to generate interest in financial education and to provide programs and build collections for libraries of all sizes and in all communities. The goal of our partnership is to provide tools and materials to help libraries provide free, unbiased financial information and referrals in their communities, and to build local partnerships and promote libraries as community resources.
